Coachella starts next week, and if you want to watch it at home, you can choose from one of six streams at once on YouTube over the two weekends. YouTube announced on Monday. That’s double the three simultaneous live streams you were able to watch last year.
This year’s Coachella lineup is fairly good, so I bet there will be a lot of good shows to watch on YouTube over the weekend. I’m personally interested in performances by Gorillaz, Wet Leg, Boygenius, Björk and the ever elusive Frank Ocean, and will do my best to tune in throughout the weekend. That said, if you want to catch a show, you should go out of your way to watch it live: YouTube only promises that “highlights” from “many of the weekend’s performances” will be available on-demand later on.
Live streams begin at 7 pm ET / 4 pm PT every day of the festival, with the first day of the event being April 14.
