The phone costs $449 on amazon. Aim, Best Buy and the Google Storewhich is a $50 discount. While we’ve technically seen the phone at a lower price, those deals have required you to trade in an older device or stick with a specific carrier. Another pre-order offer included a $100 gift card, but only if you bought the phone at full price. This latest deal, however, marks the biggest cash discount we’ve seen for the unlocked model.
This is the biggest discount yet for the unlocked version of Google's new mid-range phone, which went on sale last May.

Engadget's Sam Rutherford gave the Pixel 8a a score of 90 in his review. Like previous A-series devices, it takes most of the core features of last year's flagship Pixel phone (the Pixel 8 in this case) and puts them into a slightly cheaper design. You still get a bright, vivid OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, excellent camera performance, and enough battery life to last a typical day. It's powered by the same Tensor G3 chip and 8GB of RAM, which means it can get warm under heavy load but can handle pretty much any task. The stock software is just as clean, and Google promises the same. seven years of security and OS updates. The few truly useful ai features of the standard Pixel 8 are here too, including a Magic Eraser Tool that allows you to remove unwanted objects from photos.

That device is a few months older, but it offers faster wired and wireless charging speeds, thinner bezels, and slightly better photo quality, particularly in darker environments and with zoomed-in shots.
