Valve has lowered the price of the 512 GB LCD Steam Deck to $336.75 (about $112 off) as part of their Steam Fall Sale. The sale runs until December 4 at 1 pm ET and also includes plenty of discounts on games, but Valve discontinued the 512GB LCD Steam Deck, so it may not make it to the end. (It is already sold through the 64 GB model, which was also discounted.)
It's a shame to see the 512GB LCD model disappear, even if its image doesn't appear the same way the Steam Deck OLED does. At its regular price of $449, it's a more affordable alternative to the OLED model with the same storage, which costs $100 more but plays the same games. Especially if you're going to get it to play AAA hits like Baldur's Gate 3 and Elden Ring These will fill your onboard storage in no time.
The Steam Deck launches in 2022. A good way for Valve to balance its older handheld against newer competition like the Asus ROG Ally
