But during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, amazon revealed that while Boys It may be coming to an end, but the biggest franchise is about to get even bigger with a prequel series set in the distant past.
Although Boys Showrunner Eric Kripke was tight-lipped about the series finale, but he was very excited to bring actor Jensen Ackles on stage during a panel to announce the upcoming arrival of Vought on the risea new prequel series. Set in the 1950s, Vought on the rise will narrate the lives of Soldier Boy (Ackles) and Storm front (Aya Cash): Two of Vought's first and most powerful superhumans.
In A press release about the new programKripke described Vought on the rise as a “twisted murder mystery” that, in addition to being “soaked in blood and Compound V,” will delve into how Vought became a nefarious megacorporation. Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series, which does not yet have a planned premiere date.
