Tesla has recalled more than two million vehicles in 2024 alone, so nearly 10,000 more cars shouldn’t be too noteworthy at this point. But Tesla’s latest recall is a little more complicated, as technicians must check each car in person rather than simply issuing an update over the air. Tesla’s latest recall will see 9,136 Model x SUVs serviced manually due to concerns that a roof molding could separate, potentially increasing the risk of a crash. x-suvs-nhtsa-says-2024-08-21/” rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank” data-ylk=”slk:Reuters reports;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas” class=”link “>Reuters information.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said that “front and center roof cosmetic trim pieces may adhere to the vehicle without primer. This year, Model x, Model Y, Model 3, Model S and its Cybertruck have been recalled, causing issues ranging from the rearview camera not working in reverse to the hood being able to come loose.
