Spotify was down earlier on Sunday, with social media users reporting that the app and website were down, and for those of us in The edge Those who tried it saw the same problems.
down detector showed a peak in the number of reports about problems with the music streaming service that began around 10:40 a.m. ET. Spotify said it was working on the issue and it now appears to be resolved, with the number of reports dropping dramatically and a new message from @SpotifyStatus saying “Everything looks so much better now!”
The outage affected both the app and the website: although the app was not playing music, the website was having trouble loading. When I tried to visit during the outage, I received a server error. Please let us know if you still have any problems.
Update, September 29: Spotlight message from Spotify indicating that the issue has been fixed.
