Cruces crossing buttons in at least three cities in California seem to have been pirate this weekend to give them the voices apparently generated by Tesla, Elon Musk and the Meta Mark Zuckerberg CEO. In the videos published online, Musk's apparent voice prays to the listeners who are his friend, or Zuckerberg's boast of “undermining democracy” and “cooking the brain of our grandparents with ai Slop.”
A spokesman for Palo Alto, city of California <a target="_blank" href="https://www.paloaltoonline.com/technology/2025/04/12/silicon-valley-crosswalk-buttons-apparently-hacked-to-imitate-musk-zuckerberg-voices/”>said Palo Alto Online that the city's employees “determined that 12 intersections in the center were affected” and have disabled the voice of the pedestrian crossings.
