Rimac, the company behind the incredibly fast Nevera EV, says it is now… He made it even faster with the Nevera R. This new version of Rimac’s new electric supercar can apparently hit 60 mph from a standstill in just 1.74 seconds, or about a tenth of a second faster than the original.
The EV apparently makes 2,107 horsepower, or about 200 more than its predecessor. On top of that, Rimac says the Nevera R has better aerodynamics, more downforce and better grip, and that it managed to shave 3.8 seconds off the Nevera’s lap time at the Nardo Ring, a high-speed Italian track owned by Porsche.
Like the regular Nevera, the new electric supercar requires “manufacturer supervision” to reach its top speed of 411 km/h. Without it, the car is limited to 350 km/h. information MotorTrendThe outlet says Rimac expects the car's 108 kWh battery to have a range of about 250 miles under the European WLTP cycle, although it has not yet been certified.
