Automakers will be able to develop new ai voice assistants for their cars thanks to a new partnership with Qualcomm and Google. announced today that it is working with Google on a new artificial intelligence development system for automakers.
The new version is based on Google's infotainment platform for cars. Qualcomm offers its Snapdragon digital chassis with Google Cloud and AAOS to generate new ai-powered digital cockpits for cars. Qualcomm also announced to power driving systems, including Snapdragon Cockpit Elite for dashboards and Snapdragon Ride Elite for autonomous driving functions.
The new interface will allow drivers and passengers to interact with personalized voice assistants, immersive maps and real-time driving updates. Automakers can use the new system to create their own unique and marketable ai voice assistants that do not require a connection to a smartphone.
Other automakers have taken steps to try to integrate artificial intelligence systems into their vehicles. announced plans at CES 2024 to integrate ChatGPT into its in-car voice assistants across a range of newer models. After a slow start, AAOS now supports vehicles from several manufacturers, including Chevrolet, Honda, Volvo and Rivian.
