Amazon’s October Prime Day event (also known as Prime Big Deal Days) is here, offering abundant discounts on a wide range of products. Among the deals that may be of interest to you are big savings on Samsung’s Galaxy S23 devices, which are some of the best smartphones out there. In fact, several models have fallen to record prices. On the one hand, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has dropped to $950 for a version with 256GB of storage. That’s $250 off the regular price. If you’re looking for Samsung’s new foldable devices, you’ll also get discounts, which you can check out here.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 256GB of storage has dropped to its lowest price yet.
We gave the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung’s top-end smartphone, a score of 89 in our February review. The excellent screen, great performance, better cameras and long battery life were the main plus points. Having a built-in S Pen is also great. However, Samsung didn’t innovate enough on the design this time around, as the phone looks a lot like last year’s model. The lack of S Pen updates was also a disappointment. We also criticized Samsung for the price, but given current sales, that’s a minor issue.
SAMSUNG Galaxy S23+
Elsewhere, you can save on the Galaxy S23+ with 256GB of storage. What’s wrong with it fell from $1,000 to $800, so you will save $200. It’s probably worth upgrading if you’ve been hanging on to an older model for a few years or if you’re outside the US, where Samsung has finally started using Snapdragon processors in the Galaxy line (moving away from the arguably less efficient Exynos chips). .
This is a solid phone that ticks most of the basic boxes in terms of display, performance, and battery life. It’s more of an iterative update than anything that will surprise an S22 user.
Samsung Galaxy S23
Last but not least, the basic S23 has dropped $150 from $800 to $650. It obviously doesn’t have as many bells and whistles as the S23+ or S23 Ultra, but if you’re looking for a new phone that handles all the basics, this is a decent option.
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S23 FE (Fan Edition) later this month. It has a larger screen and battery than the standard S23, and it’s cheaper too: $600.
