User Impact: Users may have experienced several issues with their Microsoft Teams.
More information: Affected scenarios included, but were not limited to, the following:
– Users who sign in or unlock their devices after a while may experience missing messages.
– Users may not have been able to upload messages to channels and chats.
– Users were unable to view or download their media (images, videos, audio, call recordings, code snippets).
– Some users experienced delays when sending and receiving chat messages.
– Anonymous users may not have been able to join meetings.
– Teams connectors for Power Automate/Power Apps were experiencing errors.
-Call recordings may take longer to appear in the user's OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.
– Users may not have been able to load previous Copilot history or new history may not have been written.
– Bots may not have been able to download attachments.
– Sending and receiving read receipt notifications may have been delayed
– Users may have experienced issues resuming or rejoining meetings.
– Users within organizations taking advantage of an information barrier may have experienced problems joining meetings.
– Users who performed a cold boot may not have been able to log in to their computers and would have seen an “oops” page
Final Status: After expanded monitoring and various optimizations and mitigation efforts, we have confirmed that our Microsoft Teams service and features have been restored or returned to their optimal state.
