Former President Donald Trump will no longer be subject to extra-harsh penalties for content violations on his facebook and instagram accounts, Meta said Friday.
Previously, Trump's account could be completely suspended for even a relatively minor infraction that did not carry the same penalty for any other account. Now, with the Republican National Convention taking place next week, he will be treated more like anyone else.
