LG today announced the pricing and availability of its stylish 2023 Gram Style laptops announced at CES. Ultraportables running Windows are already available and cost between $1,499 and $1,999.
The 14-inch LG Gram Style is $1,499 for 512GB of storage and 16GB of memory; you’ll pay $1,799 for it to be a 1TB SSD and 32GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the larger 16-inch variant costs $1,799 for 1TB and 16GB of RAM, while $1,999 will stay with 1TB but go up to 32GB of RAM. Also, LG is currently running a deal that will get you a 32GB memory model for the price of a 16GB one (with the same screen size) if you order from lg website between now and April 16.
We were intrigued by LG’s sleek new laptop during our CES demo. Its lid and keyboard cover are made with iridescent Gorilla Glass 3 (with a nanomagnesium alloy base). It has a touchpad that fades out and blends visually and tactilely with the keyboard dock when you’re not using it. They’re also lightweight: Even the largest model weighs just 2.7 pounds (Engadget’s Cherlynn Low had no problem doing a ton of bicep curls with it). We were less sure about its build quality, however, as the 16-inch model gave a little during our CES floor-lift tests, and we ran into build-quality issues with previous LG Gram models. .
The LG Gram Style has a 3200 x 2000 OLED with a 120HZ refresh rate for the 16-inch model and a 2880 x 1800 OLED at 90Hz for the 14-inch variant. It runs on the latest 13th generation Core processors from Intel.
