T-Mobile's annual sale for baseball fans it's back. From Tuesday to Sunday, the operator's customers can claim a free one-year subscription to MLB.TV for live and on-demand access to the entire Major League Baseball season.
This is the ninth consecutive year that T-Mobile has offered the deal, which the companies extended through 2028. MLB.TV lets you watch all out-of-market regular season games and select spring training games. (Unfortunately, blocking restrictions, universally detested by all who do not benefit from them, apply to games available on the market.) They are streamed in HD and the service supports DVR and in-game playback controls.
The streaming package typically costs $150 for the season or $30 per month, so it's a nice perk for baseball fans. You can claim the offer in the T Life app (formerly T-Mobile Tuesdays) (iOS and Android) only from tomorrow until Sunday, so don't forget to claim it during that short period.
As a promotional gimmick to help seal the deal, T-Mobile is introducing a “Secret Baseball Button.” The Bluetooth device connects to your computer and can be set to “discreetly switch from baseball to 'work' with the literal click of a button.” (It's the same idea as the March Madness boss button, just in physical form.) If you care about those things, you can participate in a raffle for a chance to win one.
