Apple has launched a new application called Invites that is designed to facilitate the creation of personalized invitations for events that use an iPhone or on the web. Invites is Apple's version of FugitiveA popular invitation application that was crowned the best Google Play application of 2024.
The invitations allow you to create and share invitations, RSVP to events, contribute to shared albums and cure the sound bands.
To create an invitation, you need an ICLOUD+subscription, which costs 99 cents per month. However, anyone can confirm their assistance, regardless of whether it has an Apple account or an Apple device.
In this publication, we will guide it through the process of creating an event, adding an album or shared reproduction list, and sending your invitation to the guests.
How to create an event invitation
You can create an event in Apple Invites using the application on your iPhone or on the web on Icloud.com. Regardless of the route you choose, the process is essentially the same.
If you are in the application, you must touch the sign more in the upper right corner to create an event. If you are on the web, you must select “new event” in the upper right corner.
From here, touch the option “Add background”, then choose “photos” to select an image of your library. O Touch the “camera” option to take a new photo for the background. Apple also offers a selection of funds so you can choose.
Alternatively, you can use the Apple image recreation patio to produce original images for the background. To use the integration of the playground in the invitations, you will need an iPhone that is compatible with Apple Intelligence, which means that you need an iPhone 15 Pro and above.
Once you have added a background image, touch “Event title” to enter the name of your event and then choose a source style.
Then, touch “date and time” to choose the day and time when the event begins and ends. You can also choose to establish it as an event of all day. After establishing a date, the weather forecast for that date will be added to the invitation.
Next, touch “location” to search for a location or touch a suggested location. You have the option to enter a name for a location, such as “Emily's House.” When setting a location, the invitations will automatically add Apple Maps information to the invitation.
Finally, you can enter a description for the event, using Apple Intelligence writing tools to help you write the description, if you wish. Again, your device must be compatible with Apple Intelligence to use the function.
Once you have created your event, you can touch the “Preview” option to see what is seen before sending it to your guests.
How to create an album or shared playlist for your event invitation

While the previous steps cover the basic concepts of creating an invitation for an event, Apple offers two other features that can take their invitations to the next level.
You can create a “shared album” where attendees can contribute photos and videos from an invitation. The idea behind the function is to give attendees a way to save their memories and relive the event at a later time.
To do so, you must touch the “Create album” option. The name of the shared album will be the name of the event, but you can change it if you wish.
You can also create an event soundtrack by selecting the “Add playlist” option. Attendees can choose to add songs to the playlist before or during the event. It is worth noting that you need an Apple Music subscription to create a shared reproduction list. As with shared albums, your playlist will have the name of your event, but you can edit it.
How to invite guests to their event

There are two ways to invite guests to their event. You can share the invitation as a public link or send it to specific people from your contact list.
You must select “invite guests” to start sending invitations. If you select the “messages” or “mail” applications, you can send a public link directly through those applications. If you select “Share link”, you can send the invitation to the guests through any application on your iOS Share sheet. If you play “copy link”, you can paste the link for your invitation anywhere.
To invite a contact, touch the “Choose a guest” option, look for a name or choose someone from your contact list and then share the link with them.
After having created an event and guests for guests, you can share a note that everyone can see in the guest list. For example, you can inform the guests if the location for the event has changed, or you can send them a reminder to bring umbrellas if the prognosis requires rain.
To do so, select your event and then touch “Send a note.” Once you have written your note, touch the “Send note” button.
