The team behind the next minecraft The film shared a new clip during Minecraft Live that expands on the brief moment of elaboration we saw in the polarizing first trailer. The scene comes amid a discussion between Mojang creative director Torfi Frans Olafsson and A Minecraft movie director Jared Hess, in 4:51. The segment also gives us a first look at the film's interpretation of a minecraft bee, which I'm still not quite sure how to feel about. You can find that towards the end of the video.
A Minecraft movie It is scheduled for release in April 2025 and stars Jack Black as Steve, alongside Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. Plans for it were first announced a decade ago, and potential release dates have been set and discarded on multiple occasions since then. This is finally happening now, for better or worse.
