Google is adding a new daily calendar overview in Chrome new tabs for Workspace users with easy access to schedules and video calls. That way, when you sign in with your organization's account, the first thing you'll see are your appointments and meetings, plus files stored in Google Drive.
Regular Chrome users could already set up site shortcuts for themselves; for example, they could Schedule it to display a site search. For Reddit, all you need to do is type “red.” Now, you can apply a group policy to departments and automatically provide workers with the most useful shortcuts without requiring them to discover them on their own.
IT teams are also gaining more granular management controls, including profile-level security policies and managed browsing designed to keep personal and work data separate in BYOD environments. On the end-user side, when people log in to their work accounts, there will be a new user interface to more clearly show them what data the company has access to on the device and help keep personal bookmarks, extensions, and browser data in separate profiles.
