An earlier version of the page used language as “marginalized communities”, “diverse”, “surrender groups” and “equity” to describe the work of the RAI-HCT team. That language has been eliminated, or in some cases replaced by a less specific writing (for example, “all”, “varied” and “numerous” instead of “diverse”)

The changes, which were seen by Watchdog Group The Midas Project, come after Google eliminated a similar language from its Fundatron Fund of Startups website. The company said in early February that it would eliminate its diversity contracting objectives and review its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.
Google is among the many large technological companies that have retreated the initiatives ofi, since the Trump administration is directed to what characterizes as a “illegal“Practice. amazon and Meta have backed away the Dei measures in recent months, and OpenAi recently eliminated the mentions of diversity and inclusion of a website on their hiring practices. Apple, however, recently delayed a shareholders proposal to put an end to its Dei programs.
Many of these companies, including Google, have contracts with federal agencies.
