Meta, the owner of facebook, instagram and WhatsApp, is considering changing where Delaware is incorporated to another state, two people said with knowledge of the matter.

The company is looking at Texas and a handful of other states, people who were not authorized to talk about confidential discussions said. The process is at an early stage and a decision has not been made, they added, and the Corporate headquarters of Meta would remain in Menlo Park, California.
