It is assumed that a breakwells should help people know each other before having an in -depth experience together. Sometimes, however, I might not have the desired effect. But what would happen if you could make a breakwoods more interactive than thinking about an answer on the act? Or what would happen if it could be used throughout a conversation instead of only at the beginning?
“Whether in person or digital, there are breaks that you can use with artificial technology and intelligence,” says Kelli Erwin, senior instructional design manager of Learning.com. “Many people still fear (ai ). So how can I take something as simple as a breakwill, use ai and help break that barrier? We look why we use Rompehielos, how to do them and what are the benefits. “
The combination of ai and Rompehielos can help improve the commitment in the classroom, save time for teachers and break the barriers completely.
If you have ever had to start a conversation with a group of people and did not know what to say, then you are not alone. Rompehielos can help, but integrating ai with one can create an even more attractive environment to involve students more.
So what kind of ai platforms can be used to help the breakwells?
“We actually use different tools for the Rompehielos,” says Erwin. “Things like Padlet, for example. That is one of the tools we use. One of the reasons why I like Padlet is because it has many ordered tools, but it allows people to have a way of communicating digitally, even if they are in person. We also use many of Adobe products. We use adobe express so that people commit to people. “
These are two examples of technologies that can be used to introduce a different aspect in the traditional concept of breakwoods.

Typical breaks have always been used in education, but adding tools to the process can make the breakwers feel new.
“Let's say a teacher is presenting a new issue to students,” says Erwin. “Maybe the Rompehielos is more oriented to the new theme. He is helping to get the fear of a new theme. In Padlet, there is a tool called 'I can't draw'. It is an ai tool and makes you write a descriptive message so that the ai tool can come out and draw this image. “
Students can use this tool to better communicate what they know about a particular topic, but in a way that their chosen communication method could succeed where simple conversation could fail.
“Students must have a lot of purpose with the way they write the notice so that the image generated reflects what they intend,” says Erwin “teachers can certainly also use it as an evaluation tool. The breakwells can really be used every time they need students to show what they know, that they collaborate or decompose any type of barriers. It is a fun way to open the door to discussions.”
Erwin offers another example of using an ai platform for a breakwood to boost critical thinking skills.
“A (exercise) that I do is 'is a mystery to me,'” says Erwin. “For this, I usually use adobe express. I will choose a character and write a script for them, and read the script. Students have to listen to what the character says. It is a critical thought, but they are also skills to listen. So, if teachers use something like that, it forces students to practice their listening skills, but then have a conversation and think critically about what they believe the character was talking. “
By combining the ingenuity of the tools of ai with the social aspect of the Rompehielos, teachers can help students to discover more about their work, their learning and with each other, while involving them so that simple conversations cannot.
