Santa Barbara, California — Parent SquareThe award-winning unified school-home engagement platform for K12 education, has been included in the 2024 edition of GSV 150: GSV's annual list of the top 150 private companies transforming digital learning and workforce skills.
The GSV 150 are privately held companies backed by venture capital and private equity that are experiencing top-line growth with revenues in the low double-digit millions. The 2040 cohort together reaches ~3 billion people and generates ~$23 billion in revenue. GSV made the selection by evaluating more than 2,000 private companies on five key factors: revenue scale, revenue growth, user reach, geographic diversification and margin profile, to determine the top 150 companies globally.
“We are pleased to have been included among the world's most transformative growth companies in digital learning and workforce upskilling,” said ParentSquare Chairman and Founder Anupama Vaid. “This recognition is a testament to our mission to develop industry-leading technologies that bridge the communication gaps between school and home. From innovative ai integrations to new seamless communication tools, we remain focused on helping schools foster family engagement now and in the future.”
Vaid has also been named an honoree at the ASU+GSV Summit Power Of Women Awards. The awards recognize women founders, CEOs and presidents of business and philanthropic organizations that focus on education and skills innovation at scale. Vaid and her fellow award winners will be honored at the ASU+GSV Summit 2024, in San Diego.
In addition to receiving the Power Of Women award, Vaid will present at the summit. In line with the 2024 summit theme of exploring the limitless potential of purposeful, collaborative and entrepreneurial leaders, Vaid will talk about creating a product that people are obsessed with.
“The world is adapting to the seismic changes brought about by generative ai,” says Luben Pampoulov, partner at GSV Ventures. “ai co-pilots, ai tutors, ai content generators: ai is ubiquitous and differentiation is increasingly critical. “The GSV 150 is an impressive group of edtech companies that are leveraging ai and driving positive outcomes for students and society.”
