Lingvano GmbH was founded in 2018 and is entirely self-financed. They generate revenue from a subscription-based business model, allowing them to deliver lessons without interruptions from ads. In 2022, Lingvano had only 500,000 students, illustrating its rapid growth and the increasing popularity of sign language learning. Today, its international team is made up of hearing, hard of hearing and deaf employees, reflecting a commitment to diversity.
