As we move from Google Jamboard to FigJam, you may be wondering how to add a background image. This was something I did frequently in Jamboard to prevent students from accidentally moving between graphic organizer elements. The good news is that unlike Jamboard, you can block ANYTHING in FigJam.
How to add a background image to FigJam
Also, unlike Jamboard, you can DRAG images onto the FigJam canvas.
Drag your background image into FigJam and the right button of the mouse to choose “Block”.
Create sections instead of pages
While you can drag the background image onto the canvas and lock it, I recommend creating sections. Use the Sections tool on the toolbar, or Control S, to create sections. Sections can be locked, dragged (with all section elements), and hidden.

Copy link to section
If you place your funds in sections, you can copy the link to the section. Right click on the section to get the “Copy link to section” option. This link is copied to your clipboard. When you share it with other people, they are transported directly to that section/page.
