If there’s one thing I’ve come to expect from Google over the past seventeen years, it’s that none of its best products stay the same for long. For example, so far this month Google has announced Jamboard obsolescence and has launched a new version of Google Earth.
The new version of Google Earth is a major update to the web browser version. Some things you’ll notice immediately when you open the new version of Google Earth is that it doesn’t include all of the “trips” and games that were included in the previous version. Additionally, the overall aesthetic of the new web version of Google Earth is minimalist. All of those things probably contribute to it loading much faster than the previous version.
