On May 7, 2024, Clayton County Public Schools (Clayton County, GA) received the District of the Year Award for Educational technology Implementation from Boxlight Corporation. This recognition highlights the strong partnership between box light and CCPS, dedicated to modernizing classrooms and improving student engagement.
Over the past eight years, CCPS has invested in Mimio displays, software and interactive tools, along with comprehensive teacher training from EOS Education. CCPS Superintendent Dr. Anthony Smith praised the collaboration and highlighted Boxlight's commitment to supporting the district's educational goals.
During the presentation ceremony at the CCPS Coffee, Boxlight representatives and Dr. Smith emphasized the district's dedication to educator effectiveness and student academic progress. Additionally, CCPS received a ezRoom (FrontRow by Boxlight) for your district office, further enhancing the learning environment.

CCPS and Boxlight also hosted a special teacher appreciation event, celebrating CCPS educators. During the event, Boxlight and CCPS honored impactful use of technology, including recognition of Outstanding technology Teacher of the Month, CCPS Digital Classroom Champion, and other awards for effective integration of technology during the 2023-2024 school year. The occasion provided the opportunity to recognize the contributions of exceptional teachers and construction leaders.
In addition to the awards ceremony, Boxlight presented MimioSTEM Mobile, featuring acclaimed STEM Solutions like MyStemKits and Robo 3D printers. Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge educational technology, making it an exciting event for everyone involved.
