As educators, our ultimate goal is to prepare students for success beyond high school. Our goal is to equip them with the skills, knowledge and experiences they need to make informed professional decisions and prosper in their chosen paths. In the Comck School District, we are deeply committed to promoting professional preparation through the design of innovative real -world learning environments that inspire and train our students.
One of our most proud achievements is the Bloomberg Financial Aleberidad Laboratory, which plays a fundamental role in the preparation of students to administer their financial lives. This avant -garde laboratory provides students with the tools for making informed financial decisions and becoming administrators responsible for their own futures. Recognizing the critical importance of financial education, we have made it a graduation requirement for our elders.
In addition, our Financial Management career course presents students of Ninth grade of the Bloomberg laboratory, where they explore investments, credit and other essential financial issues. By creating these career centered spaces, we have worked to transform the traditional aspect of a school. What once were the institutional walls of cement are now warm spaces, invited with plasterboard walls, modern floors, modern lighting and contemporary furniture.

Here are five strategies that we have used to create spaces ready for the career that are aligned with our vision to prepare students for life after high school:
1. Design for functionality, comfort and collaboration

We associate ourselves with while ensuring that our furniture was not only modern but also functional and conducive to collaboration. For example, the Bloomberg laboratory includes mobile seats, elegant sofas and a design that encourages group interaction. These design options create an environment that feels like the professional world, helping students to imagine in future professional environments.
