The A-Series, released in 2021, were the cheaper version of Google’s 2020 Pixel Buds. The Pixel Buds A-Series may be a few years old now, but they’re still a good pair of earbuds. We gave them a score of 84 in our review when the model first launched, and we were especially impressed with the sound quality, Google Assistant integration, and comfort. The A-Series earbuds have a small “stabilising arch” appendage to help them fit securely in your ears. There are some built-in controls, including play/pause, answering calls, and skipping tracks, but they don’t have physical volume controls – for those, you’d need to use Google Assistant or adjust the volume on your device.
Google says the Pixel Buds A-Series earbuds offer about five hours of listening time on a charge, or 2.5 hours of talk time. With the charging case, that listening time increases to about 24 hours. With the current deal, you can get the Pixel Buds A-Series earbuds in Clearly White or Dark Olive for $35 off the regular price. For a dollar more, you can get them in Charcoal. (The pale blue Sea color option is unfortunately not covered by the discount.) At $64, the Pixel Buds A-Series are near an all-time low, and cheaper than they were even in July.
