Finally, Bobbeigh conquered the spiritual successor to Castlevania. Bloody: Ritual of the night – in hard mode – in 30 minutes and 24 seconds.
Peanut Butter the Shiba Inu is now etched in the annals of GDQ history as the first canine-assisted drag race at one of the charity events. The well-trained dog helped his owner (JSR_) finish the 1985 NES game. gyromite in 26 minutes and 24 seconds. He responded to timely commands, pressing his paw on a foot-operated controller to move the game's red and green tubes up and down to carry Professor Hector to safety. (He was compensated with ham and cheese for his work.) You can watch Peanut Butter's memorable run below.
This year's AGDQ brings Games Done Quick's fundraising total, dating back 14 years, to more than $48.9 million. In addition to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, the exhibits have raised money for organizations such as Doctors without borders, Malala Background, Autism Research Organization and CAREFUL. The next marathon will be an all-women's sprint event called Frost Fatales, which will take place online from March 3-10 with proceeds benefiting National Women's Law Center.
