Witness rapid innovation, fierce competition and transformative tools for life, work and human development
After half to a decade of technical developments that included the transformative architecture for ai systems along with several other advances in computing, the last 3 to 4 years have been tremendously active in the development of specific applications that have resulted in software (based in ai) that I had not even dreamed of just 10 or 20 years ago. We are mainly talking about ai models that execute powerful processing and analysis of texts, computer codes, images, audio, videos and even molecules, lately integrated into multimodal systems.
During 2024, many of these tools simply shined, began to shape the immediate future and impacted not only our daily lives but also businesses and markets. We can now reliably use LLMs to summarize texts, search for information, or even solve problems of simple to medium complexity; We can boost software writing, scripting, data analysis and software utilization with LLMs who possess a wealth of knowledge and behave like 24/7 experts.
