China's goal of winning the ai career is strengthened after the launch of the new Tencent Hunyuan-T1 model. From the first looks and reference points it looks better than Depseek R1 and the OpenAi GPT 4.5. The model has an impressive generation speed of 60-80 tokens per second, exceeding GPT-4.5 and Deepseek R1 in performance. It has reasoning capabilities at ultra long scale and uses a MOE hybrid architecture of Mamba transformer, which improves its logical reasoning and guarantees high quality concise production. Conclusion
Despite its technical advances, access to Hunyuan-T1 remains a challenge for users outside of China. Unlike other Chinese models such as Deepseek and Kimi, which allow Google's logr, the Tencent platform is largely based on Wechat and requires a Chinese telephone number for registration. This creates a barrier to international users and limits the global accessibility of the model.
