In 2023, AWS announced an expanded collaboration with Hugging Face to accelerate our customers' generative artificial intelligence (ai) journey. Founded in 2016, Hugging Face is the leading artificial intelligence platform with over 500,000 open source models and over 100,000 data sets. Over the past year, we've partnered to make it easy to train, tune, and deploy Hugging Face models using amazon SageMaker, AWS Trainium, and AWS Inferentia. Developers using Hugging Face can now optimize performance and reduce costs to bring generative ai applications to production faster.

We're excited to announce a generative ai roadshow in North America where you can meet with experts from Hugging Face and AWS, learn about the latest developments in generative ai, and get hands-on experience tuning and deploying basic models. As part of this tour, Julian SimonHugging Face's chief evangelist, will travel to eight AWS locations across North America between April and June. He can meet with Julien and AWS experts to dive deeper into your use cases and learn how AWS and Hugging Face can help you.
