For Enterprise and Team users, memory can come in handy when using ChatGPT for work. You can learn their style and preferences and build on past interactions. This saves you time and generates more relevant and insightful responses. For example:
- ChatGPT can remember your tone, voice, and formatting preferences and automatically apply them to draft blog posts without needing to repeat them.
- When you code, you tell ChatGPT your programming language and frameworks. You can remember these preferences for later tasks, streamlining the process.
- For monthly trading reviews, you securely upload your data to ChatGPT and it creates your preferred charts with three takeaways each.
As with any ChatGPT feature, you are in control of your organization's data. Memories and any other information from your workspace are excluded from training our models. Users have control over how and when their memories are used in chats. Additionally, Enterprise account owners can disable memory for their organization at any time.
Enterprise and Team users will have memory access as part of our broader rollout.
