amazon Monitron, the amazon Web Services (AWS) machine learning (ML) service for health monitoring of industrial equipment, will no longer be available to new customers starting October 31, 2024. Existing amazon Monitron customers will be able to buy devices and use the service normally. We will continue to sell devices until July 2025 and honor the 5-year device warranty, including support service. AWS continues to invest in security, availability, and performance improvements for amazon Monitron, but we do not plan to introduce new features to amazon Monitron.
This post discusses how customers can maintain access to amazon Monitron after it is closed to new customers and what some alternatives to amazon Monitron are.
Maintain access to amazon Monitron
Customers will be considered existing customers if they have ordered an amazon Monitron sensor through a project at any time within 30 days prior to October 31, 2024. To maintain access to the service after October 31, 2024, customers Clients must create a project. and put at least one sensor into operation.
If you have any questions or need support, you can contact your assigned account manager, solutions architect, or create a case from the AWS Management Console.
Order amazon Monitron Hardware
For existing amazon business customers, we will whitelist your account with existing amazon Monitron devices. For existing amazon.com retail customers, the amazon Monitron team will provide specific ordering instructions based on the individual request.
Alternatives to amazon Monitron
