In my current role, I have been responsible for reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions for data science interns for the past three years. As my group is preparing for our fourth cohort of summer interns, I thought it might be helpful to post some tips based on my experience and observations.
This isn’t a comprehensive guide to landing a data science internship—many other people have done a great job on that topic. It’s a mix of tips that come from my experience reviewing hundreds of resumes and conducting dozens of interviews for data science internships.
