Grok, named after the term coined in Robert Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land, meaning to understand something so thoroughly that it becomes part of you, is designed to be the digital reincarnation of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. : intelligent, almost omniscient and with a sense of humor.

1. Real-time connectivity: Grok has a clear advantage with its real-time access to tweets and a “live” search engine linked to the mysterious “X” platform.
