Acer has just revealed two new portable games of games in IEM Katowice, a Counter Tournament in Poland. These are entries in the line of laptops Predator Helios Neo ai of the company, so they are filled to the edge with bells and whistles. The Helios Neo 16 ai and 18 ai can be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gpu.
Both computers also have elegant and minimalist designs, with RGB logo on the lid and RGB keyboards of “dynamic areas”. They support up to 64 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of internal storage. Laptops also come with Intel Killer Ethernet and are integrated with Wi-Fi 6e, so online game sessions should be fast as they can be. Both models admit NVIDIA G-SYNC, Advanced Optimus and Mux Switch.
The NEO 16 ai includes a WQXGA OLED screen with an update speed of 240Hz and a response time of 1 m. The Helios Neo 18 ai presents a WQXGA LED mini panel with an 250Hz update speed and a response time of 3 ms. Neo 16 is announced as an excellent option for portable games, while neo 18 is marketed as a desktop replacement.
