Cruise lines tend to offer their crew members special meals in honor of most major holidays.
That makes sense at Christmas or Easter, but it's less logical on the Fourth of July or Thanksgiving because so few crew members are Americans.
It's a little strange to host a traditional Thanksgiving feast for a large group of people who have never had one before, unless they worked the holiday on a boat the previous year. Still, crew members always appreciate the special meals and Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) did not disappoint with this year's party.

In fact, Carnival's galley team prepared multiple meals to complement the crew buffet and also served a special captain's dinner.
Most crew members eat at a buffet-style restaurant, which is a sort of buffet for passengers on the deck of the Lido. Only performers, officers, and other select personnel are allowed to eat in passenger areas (although there are sometimes exceptions to that rule, such as crew members who win contests).

Carnival offers Thanksgiving party to crew
