Investing.com – The United States stock market closed with gains this Friday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close of the New York Stock Exchange, the index advanced 0.80%, while the index added 1.26% and gained 1.75%.
The best performer of the session was NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:), up 4.43%, or 6.12 points, to close at 144.43. They were followed by amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ:), which gained 1.79%, or 3.94 points, to close at 224.16, and Unitedhealth Group (NYSE:), which rose 1.68%, or 8.49 points, until closing the session at 513.00.
The worst results of the session were Boeing Co. (NYSE:), which fell 1.15%, or 1.97 points, to close at 169.90. Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:) fell 0.51% or 0.85 points to close at 165.13 and Nike Inc (NYSE:) fell 0.49%, or 0.36 points, to 73.31.
The best performer on the S&P 500 was Super Micro Computer Inc (NASDAQ , which rose 10.92% to 33.33. Vistra Energy Corp. (NYSE which rose 8.49% to close at 162.36 and Tesla Inc (NASDAQ which gained 8.22% to close at 410.44.
The worst results were Dollar Tree Inc. (NASDAQ which was down 4.07% to 73.36 at the end of the session, Molson Coors Brewing Co Class B (NYSE which lost 3.37% to settle at 55.27 and celanese Corporation (NYSE which closed down 3.35% to 66.13.
The best performing stocks on the NASDAQ Composite were Focus Universal Inc. (NASDAQ which rose 177.57% to 0.96, N2OFF Inc (NASDAQ which rose 146.73% to close at 2.64 and Cerence Inc (NASDAQ which gained 143.76% to close at 19 ,33.
The worst results were PTL Inc. (NASDAQ:) which fell 39.38% to 7.39 at the end of the session, HWH International Inc (NASDAQ:) which lost 28.80% to 0.46 and NXU Inc (NASDAQ:) ), which fell 23.98%, to 0.71 at the close.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the New York Stock Exchange in 2059 at 738 and 57 ended unchanged; On the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2,441 rose and 870 fell, while 102 ended unchanged.
Shares of Celanese Corporation (NYSE fell to 3-year lows; down 3.35% or 2.29 to 66.13. Shares of N2OFF Inc (NASDAQ rose to 52-week highs; gained 146.73 % or 1.57 to 2.64.

Gold futures for February delivery fell 0.70% or 18.69 to $2,650.31 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil futures for delivery in February rose 1.23% or 0.90 to hit $74.03 a barrel, while Brent oil futures for delivery in March rose 0. .86%, 0.65, to $76.58 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% at 1.03, while USD/JPY fell 0.07% at 157.36.
US dollar index futures were down 0.39% at 108.78.
