CONWAY GITTENS: I'm Conway Gittens reporting from the New York Stock Exchange. Here's what we're watching today on TheStreet.
stocks are coming off a mixed session with the S&P 500 recovering from a shaky start to the week thanks to a jump in Nvidia stock. Wall Street is waiting to find out Micron's earnings and how Chipotle will fare after its 50-for-1 stock split went into effect.
Investors are also looking forward to Friday's key inflation report: the PCE Price Index. The Federal Reserve pays the most attention to this metric when making its interest rate decisions.
And in other news, two popular pickup trucks are being recalled.
Ford is recalling more than 500,000 pickup trucks because of a transmission problem that could cause the truck to automatically shift into first gear, increasing the risk of a crash. This recall affects certain 2014 F-150 trucks. The F-150 is the best-selling truck in the US.

Meanwhile, Tesla is recalling more than 11,000 Cybertrucks due to a problem with the windshield wiper and a piece of plastic that could be ejected from the trunk box. This is the fourth recall for the Cybertruck since its launch in November, with the most recent recall occurring in April.
Recalls are not that rare for both Ford and Tesla. So far this year, the two automakers have recalled a total of 6 million vehicles.
That's all for the daily summary. From the New York Stock Exchange, I'm Conway Gittens with TheStreet.
