Some companies have chosen to maintain a house in the market where they have been based for a long time.
Target, for example, could be easier to deal with suppliers if he moved his headquarters to New York, but has stayed in Minneapolis. That is not so important now that the chain has become a national giant player, but it was an choice that came with some negatives in their years of training.

Walmart has made a similar decision, staying in Bentonville, Arkansas. That is not exactly an important metropolis, but the chain has made it the center of the retail world.
Microsoft has also chosen to avoid traditional technological centers such as Seattle and San Francisco maintaining its headquarters in Redmond, Washington, a suburb that is basically Microsoft and not much more.
None of these companies, however, has a city as part of its name. It was discordant, for example, knowing that the almost dead chain of Boston Market has actually called Boulder, Colorado, home for quite some time.
Few brands, however, have the location equity of the chicken chain founded by Colonel Harlan Sanders. While the “Kentucky” part of Kentucky fried chicken has been minimized in favor of KFC initials in recent years, the chain has a deep connection with its native state.

KFC makes a cost savings movement
KFC has a deep background history and its pet, unlike Ronald McDonald, it is both a real person and its real founder.
“It all started with the man, the myth, the legend itself. In 1930, in a humble service station in Corbin, Kentucky, Harland Sanders, 40, began to feed the hungry travelers. Sanders spent the next nine years (now that is a dedication) perfecting its secret mixture of 11 herbs and spices, as well as the basic cooking technique that we still use today. Now owned by Restaurants Brands International (QSR) The chain has Pizza Hut and Taco Bell as sister brands.
The chain still follows the same three steps to make its chicken:
- Inspect: Each fresh lot of the best chicken in the world begins with our chefs inspecting each individual piece.
- Season: Then, our fresh chicken is carefully rolled 7 times in our secret mixture of 11 herbs and spices before being shaken 7 times.
- Cook: Then, the pressure was cooked at low temperature to preserve all the great flavor by which we are known throughout the world.
KFC, however, will no longer have its headquarters in Kentucky.

The CEO also discussed Scott Mezvinsky, who will assume the position of CEO of the KFC division.
“Yes, as for Scott entering and taking leadership with the KFC brand worldwide, there is a lot KFC, “he added.
