One of the biggest residencies on the Strip over the past two years was Adele's “Weekends With Adele” residency, which opened on November 18, 2022 and closed on November 23, 2024, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace after of 100 shows.

In the coming days, classic 80s rockers Duran Duran will conclude their residencies, presenting their last two shows of their residency at the BleauLive Theater in Fontainebleau on December 29 and 30.
Bruno Mars ends his residency in Las Vegas
Superstar singer Bruno Mars wraps up his residency at MGM Resorts International's Dolby Live at Park MGM on December 21, 27, 30 and 31. There are very few tickets left for the performances, which are more than 90% sold out.
Mars, who operates his own Pinky Ring club in Bellagio, will likely return to the Strip at his club or another casino resort.
Rock star Lenny Kravitz closed out his first residency on the Las Vegas Strip with five shows concluding October 26 at MGM's Dolby Live at Park MGM. Kravitz has not indicated whether he will return for another residency.
REO Speedwagon closes its residency on the Las Vegas Strip
Classic rock band REO Speedwagon will close its Las Vegas Strip residency and retire from touring when the music stops and the lights go up at the Venetian Theater at The Venetian Resort on December 21.

The legendary band revealed on September 16, 2024 on their website that due to irreconcilable differences between band members Kevin Cronin and Bruce Hall, REO Speedwagon will stop touring as of January 1, 2025.

The band said goodbye to the road in a message on the website:
“To our fans: Bruce intends to get back on tour now. If it were just up to him, he'd be back on tour… but it's not just up to him. The consensus opinion was that he hadn't. He recovered enough to be able to perform at the level that fans expected. Bruce respected that opinion and is grateful that Matt was there to keep the Wagon going during the summer tour. Bruce never intended to retire or walk away from the band. , the fans and the team that loves almost 50 years,” the messages said.

“For Kevin's part, he has never had any intention of leaving the band either, and the fans and the team mean a lot to him as well.”
“Due to this complex situation, irreconcilable differences arose between Bruce and Kevin. Therefore, it is with great sadness that we announce that REO Speedwagon will cease touring as of January 1, 2025. Neal, Kevin and Bruce thank their fans for all their years of loyal support and for giving back to the band such wonderful memories that will stay with each of them forever.”
While the message said the band would “stop touring,” it did not say whether they would stop performing together. The band could regroup for one-off concerts or residencies in Las Vegas, but the message was unclear if the band would reunite for future concerts.
