Cam Heyward seemed to be taking it well.
The Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle managed to show humor in the face of adversity after the plane carrying the team home from Las Vegas made an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 25.

No injuries were reported and the team took a replacement plane back to Pittsburgh. The Steelers were returning to Iron City after a 23-18 victory over the Raiders in Las Vegas.
Several Pittsburgh media outlets reported that the plane landed at KCI Airport at 3:55 a.m. CT due to an oil pressure failure in one of the engines. Fire trucks were on scene inspecting the Airbus A330-900, according to Pittsburgh affiliate CBS. KDKAwho had a news team on board the plane.

‘Unexpectedly diverted’
“Our team plane was unexpectedly diverted to Kansas City early this morning on our way back to Pittsburgh after our game in Las Vegas,” Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten said. tweeted. “Everyone on the plane is safe and we are making necessary plans to return to Pittsburgh later today.”
Heyward shared his feelings about the incident on X, formerly Twitter. saying “Damn emergency landing in KC. I think it’s because @minkfitz_21 ‘violated the passer call’ but he seriously landed in KC………”
He was referring to Minkah Fitzpatrick, who was penalized after sacking Las Vegas quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, a decision that still didn’t sit well with Pittsburgh fans.
Still in good spirits, Heyward referenced singing sensation Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The two are reportedly dating and Swift was spotted at the Chiefs’ home game at Arrowhead Stadium.

“Yo @taylorswift13 and @tkelce we might need a ride to Pittsburgh,” Heyward. aware.
Heyward even posted a clip from the 2004 film “Soul Plane,” asking the film’s star, Snoop Dogg, to come pick them up.
“Who knew Cam was a comedian?” a poster observed.
“He’s great at roasting people,” another person said. noted.
Kansas City International joined in the fun, tweeting “Sorry you had to make an unscheduled touchdown in Kansas City, @Steelers. That will be the only one this year (not on the @Chiefs schedule). After the season: who knows? Fly safely.”
The Steelers’ replacement plane with 182 passengers on board took off at 10:29 a.m. CT and landed in Pittsburgh at 1:19 p.m. ET, ESPN reportedquoting FlightAware.
