Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , sectors led shares higher.

The best results of the session were those of Saudi Arabia. Asbestos Co. (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.04%, or 2.65 points, to close at 31.95, while Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:) advanced 7.57%, or 5.50 points, to close at 78.20 and Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:) gained 7.36%, or 1.14 points, to close at 16.62.
The worst results of the session were Raydan Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.30%, or 0.95 points, to close at 27.80. Al-Rajhi REIT (TADAWUL:) fell 2.47% or 0.21 points to close at 8.29 and Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:) fell 2.32% or 5.40 points to close at 227.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining stocks on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 188 to 105 and 22 stocks ended unchanged.
Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:) shares rose to a new 52-week high, gaining 9.04% or 2.65 to trade at 31.95.
Crude oil for October delivery fell 2.98%, or 2.26%, to $73.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil for November delivery fell 2.40%, or 1.89%, to $76.93 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery fell 0.95%, or 24.30%, to $2,536.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR fell 0.24% to 4.15, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US dollar futures index rose 0.35% to 101.62.
