Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks closed lower this Sunday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the fell 0.33%.
The best performer of the session was Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:), rising 8.49% or 7.30 points to close at 93.30. Meanwhile, Sumou JSCC Real Estate Company (TADAWUL:) rose 6.61%, 2.95 points, to close at 47.60, and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 3.45%, 0.62 points, to close the session at 18.60.
At the bottom of the index was Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.06%, or 0.02 points, to close at 0.31. Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.07% or 4.60 points to close at 145.00 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:), which was down 2.29% or 1.40 points , until saying goodbye at 59.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 164 to 143 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.81% or 1.27 to $71.29 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent oil futures for February delivery rose 1.47% or 1.08 to settle at $74.49 a barrel, while Gold futures for February delivery fell 1 .24%, 33.60, to $2,675.80 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR rose 0.25% to 3.95, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
US dollar index futures rose 0.04% to 106.68.
