Investing.com – The Saudi Arabia stock market closed higher this Sunday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close of Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.41%.
The best value of the session was MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:), with a rise of 9.84%, or 5.50 points, to close at 61.40. Meanwhile, Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:), which advanced 9.53%, 0.43 points, to close at 4.94, and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) rose 5.36%, or 5.80 points, to end the session at 114.00.
The worst results of the session were ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.92%, or 0.60 points, to close at 19.94. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) fell 2.46% or 4.60 points to close at 182.40 and Arab drilling Co (TADAWUL:) was down 2.07% or 3.60 points to 170.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 194 to 83 and 19 ended unchanged.
Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) shares rose to all-time highs; gaining 5.36% or 5.80 to 114.00.
Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.91% or 1.41 to $72.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for April delivery fell 1.31% or 1.03 to settle at $77.67 a barrel, while Gold futures for April delivery fell 0. .68%, 14.00, to $2,057.10 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR fell 0.71% to 4.05, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
US dollar index futures rose 0.93% to 103.82.
