The best value of the session was BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:), with an increase of 9.96%, or 1.82 points, to close at 20.10. Meanwhile, Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:), which advanced 9.34%, 2.95 points, to close at 34.55, and National Insurance Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.00%, 1.72 points, ending the session at 23.22.
At the bottom of the index was Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.00%, or 0.02 points, to close at 0.48. Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:) fell 2.94% or 3.00 points to close at 99.20 and Almarai Company (TADAWUL:) was down 2.46% or 1.40 points to close at 55.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 182 to 121 and 28 ended unchanged.
Arriyadh Development Co. (TADAWUL:) shares rose to 5-year highs; up to 9.34% or 2.95 to 34.55.
Crude oil for February delivery rose 0.92% or 0.64 to $70.26 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent oil futures for delivery in March were unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to stay at $73.79 a barrel, while gold futures for delivery in February They fell 0.66%, or 17.40, to $2,636.50 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR rose 0.26% to 3.91, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
US dollar index futures were down 0.09% at 107.79.
