Investing.com – The Saudi Arabia stock market closed higher this Sunday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close of Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session were Arabic recruitment services Company CJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.97% or 15.20 points to close at 167.60. Followed by Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:), which gained 4.97% or 2.15 points to close at 45.45, and Saudi Public Transport Co. (TADAWUL:), which gained 3.98%, 0.88 points, until closing the session at 23.00.
At the bottom of the index was Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.06%, or 0.02 points, to close at 0.31. aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.33% or 5.60 points to close at 123.60 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.23% or 0. 12 points, until saying goodbye at 3.59.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Stock Exchange by 173 to 131 and 33 ended unchanged.
Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:) shares rose to all-time highs; up to 4.97% or 2.15 to 45.45.
Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.33% or 0.93 to $70.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for February delivery rose 1.27% or 0.94 to hit $74.63 a barrel, while Gold futures for February delivery rose 1. 62%, 43.30, to $2,737.20 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% at 3.91, while USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% at 3.75.
US dollar index futures rose 0.54% to 107.51.
