Packing for a cruise can be a puzzle, especially for a cruise for the first time in a long navigation.
It can be a challenge to determine how to bring a couple of weeks of clothing and travel needs without loading multiple suitcases. Not to mention that their little cruise cabin with disorder is crowded.

What can be even more disconcerting is to reach the cruise terminal with a giant and stuffed suitcase in tow, just to see some passengers navigate with just a small handbag.
Of course, not everyone pacies illuminated for a cruise, especially if they sail to colder destinations such as Alaska that require cruises to pike more bulky layers and garments to stay hot.
However, many experienced cruises are practical packers that adopt an “less is more” approach. A recent discussion in the Princess Cruises community in Reddit shed light on how these passengers handle long trips with limited luggage.

Princess Cruises passengers reveal their packaging habits
A cruise that was planning its packaging strategy for a 11 -day Mediterranean cruise thought it would be useful to communicate with other passengers to have an idea of how they pack for the princess cruises of similar lengths.

As for longest cruise ships, most passengers travel with a standard size suitcase to verify and a handbag, according to comments on the thread. For most, the handbag is a backpack or a bag bag.

It is easy to exaggerate for a cruise, especially the first, and most experienced cruises suggest packing less than you think you will need. For longer cruises, many passengers say they will be glad not bringing an additional suitcase.
Most cruise ships offer laundry services that facilitate passengers to pack less. Princess Cruises ships even have self -service laundry facilities that passengers can use for a small rate. Many passengers recommend taking advantage of this in longer cruises.
“Now I packed enough to wash clothes in the middle of the cruise,” Skeptics1 said in Reddit's thread. “I have sailed several times with more than half of what I brought without wearing.”

Passengers share tips for a simpler cruise
Some passengers also follow popular packaging methods to determine how many clothing garments.
“The formula 6-5-4-3-3-1 of someone more described would follow: 6 tops, 5 funds (one elegant), 4 shoes (sneakers, crushing/sandals and 2 types of floors), 3 accessories (hat, scarf, sunglasses), 2 blazers/sweaters and a dress,” Kalisiscing recommended the Mediterrane cruises.
Another passenger suggested a capsule closet approach.
“The capsule closet: three funds and 4 tops that mix and coincide with 12 attire. Add a 'formal' attire, required pool equipment, pajamas and underwear,” Nygrl811 outlined.

To save space in their luggage, some cruise passengers also use packing cubes or travel compression bags.
No matter the method that follows, you can probably get your own packaging even lighter, especially if you plan to wash clothes on the ship.
“For my first cruise, I definitely packed. I would say that I prepared your list, then I cut it in half,” Pearl729 suggested.
While the packaging may seem overwhelming for a cruise for the first time, it tends to be easier once you have some navigations to your credit, as another cruise stood out.
“Most people are exaggerated until they have made a couple of cruises,” said enough-593. “We are at the point of a large suitcase each and a backpack to continue with dressing articles, medicines, credit cards, passports and, most importantly, phone load cables.”
