Investing.com – The Norwegian stock market closed lower on Friday; the declines of the sectors, and drove the indices downward.
At the close in Oslo, it lost 0.21%.
The best performers of the session were Autoliners Hoegh ASA (OL :), which rose 3.51%, or 3.70 points, to close at 109.00. Meanwhile, Drilling drilling Ltd (OL:) advanced 2.34%, 0.96 points, to close at 42.02 and Store fire ASA (OL 🙂 rose 1.41%, 1.70 points, ending the session at 122.40.
The worst results of the session were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:), which fell 4.04%, that is, 4.20 points, to close at 99.70. Nel ASA (OL 🙂 fell 3.47%, 0.11 points, to close at 3.03, and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) was down 2.04% or 2.10 points to 100.75.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 146 to 125 and 33 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery rose 1.13% or 0.79 to $70.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities, Brent oil futures for February delivery rose 0.86% or 0.63 to hit $74.04 a barrel, while Gold futures for February delivery fell 1. 11%, 30.11, to $2,679.29 per troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% at 11.70, while USD/NOK fell 0.20% at 11.15.
US dollar index futures rose 0.10% to 106.75.
