Investing.com – The Norwegian stock market closed higher on Monday; the gains of the sectors, and drove the indices higher.
At the close in Oslo, the dollar gained 0.30%, reaching a new all-time high.
The best performers of the session were Tomra Systems ASA (OL :), which rose 10.66%, 15.10 points, to close at 156.70. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL :), which advanced 5.30%, 0.16 points, to close at 3.12, and ASA Norwegian Air Transport (OL:) rose 4.49%, 0.49 points, ending the session at 11.29.
The worst results of the session were Autoliners Hoegh ASA (OL :), which fell 3.48%, that is, 4.60 points, to close at 127.60. Drilling drilling Ltd (OL:) fell 3.39% or 1.52 points to close at 43.26, and Hafnia Ltda. (OL:) fell 2.87% or 1.75 points to 59.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 164 to 116 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery fell 2.95% or 2.10 to $69.14 a barrel. Regarding other commodities, Brent oil futures for February delivery fell 2.79% or 2.08 to settle at $72.55 a barrel, while Gold futures for February delivery fell 3 .00%, 82.10, to $2,655.10 per troy ounce.
EUR/NOK rose 0.80% to 11.64, while USD/NOK rose 0.25% to 11.10.
US dollar index futures were down 0.54% at 106.92.
